Bio:
Annika Herr is Professor of Health Economics at the Leibniz University Hannover since March 2019. Before, she was an assistant professor at the Düsseldorf Institute for Competition Economics (DICE) of the Heinrich-Heine-Universität Düsseldorf from 2012 to Feb. 2019. She holds undergraduate degrees in business administration and economics from the Universität Dortmund. After her studies at the Ruhr Graduate School in Economics and a research stay at the University of California, Berkeley, Annika Herr received her Ph.D. (Dr. rer. pol.) from the Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg in 2009. From 2009-2012, she worked as a research assistant at the DICE. Her research interests lie in theoretical and applied health economics focusing on questions of competition and regulation.
