Bio:

Stefan Felder studied economics and sociology at the University of Bern, where he received his PhD in 1989 and his habilitation in 1995. In 1997 he became professor of health economics at the Medical Department of the Otto-von-Guericke University Magdeburg, moving to Duisburg-Essen University in 2008 to become professor of economics. He has been professor of health economics at the WWZ of the University of Basle in Switzerland and the acting coordinator of CINCH since 2011, but has since taken the post of director of the newly founded CINCH.
