Zur Person:

Dr. Annika Herr ist seit März 2019 Professorin für Gesundheitsökonomie an der Leibniz Universität Hannover. Von 2012 bis 2019 war sie Juniorprofessorin am Düsseldorfer Institut für Wettbewerbsökonomie (DICE) an der Heinrich-Heine-Universität Düsseldorf. Sie schloss ihr Studium an der Universität Dortmund mit einem Diplom in BWL und einem Diplom in VWL ab. Nach einem Promotionsstudium im Rahmen der Ruhr Graduate School in Economics und einem Aufenthalt an der University of California, Berkeley wurde sie 2009 an der Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg zum Dr. rer. pol. promoviert und anschließend am DICE als wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterin beschäftigt. Ihre Forschungsschwerpunkte liegen in der theoretischen und empirischen Gesundheitsökonomie mit einem Fokus auf Wettbewerb und Regulierung.
